AI USAGE POLICY (inspired by the /ai 'manifesto' by Damola Morenikeji: As of this update (5 July 2026), I have never used generative algorithms to assist me in any capacity while making any of my creative works. I will always clearly label any work I make that was created with the assistance of generative algorithms. I have never used and will never use generative algorithms as a learning/research resource. You may use my works to train your own generative algorithms so long as you follow my Derivative Works Policy below. (For more on the subject of "artificial intelligence", I recommend this fantastic website written by Nicky Case.)

I have only three caveats:
- Credit me. It doesn't have to be anything ostentatious, but my name MUST be attached to your work somewhere as a source/inspiration/etc.
- Tell me. If you're making something based on/inspired by/drawing from, in a significant fashion, my own creative works, PLEASE let me know! I desperately want to see anything you might do with them! I'm most promptly accessible through Discord, but only if you share a server with me. You may also contact me via Tumblr or Ex-Twitter DMs, via a comment on an AO3 work, or FFN PMs (though I wouldn't recommend the latter, seeing as the site has been overrun with spam bots in recent months). I would like to give you the exposure you deserve! ^w^
- Do NOT make RPF of me without my consent. If I have told you in no uncertain terms that you may use me as a character in a specific work, that's consent. If I have entered myself willingly as a fictional character into some media (e.g. myself as an authorsona in "K'S COMPLETELY TRUE TALES OF THE WESTERVILLE MALL DO NOT STEAL"), that's consent. Otherwise, don't do it. I'm a real living human being, and I would prefer that you do not openly fantasize about myself, my life, or my relationships.
Other than that, you may do whatever you wish with my works. Yes, this includes feeding my writing or art into a machine learning algorithm. Yes, this includes citrus/NSFW derivatives (though don't expect me to view them). Yes, this includes printing them out, taping them to a punching bag, and beating the tar out of them (send me video if you do this).

If you've known me for a while, you're aware that I'm something of a prude. So it may come as something of a surprise to you to know that I have fallen headfirst into the Fear & Hunger fandom. Yeah, the video game where multiple enemies deal damage by sexually assaulting you. With the uncensored nudity and the divine nonce. I know, I know. Listen: the lore is fascinating, and the characters in Termina are compelling. So I've put in a hundred or so hours minimum playing Funger 1 (I'm waiting for The Update before I touch Termina), and I've beaten every ending at least once, plus various self-imposed challenges. I'm working on multiple writing projects centering around Funger, including one that I'm very excited about but want to wait before I reveal my involvement in :3c
In terms of other video games: I've been on a big Darkest Dungeon kick lately (highly recommend if you like fretting over inventory space), and I'm replaying the Batman: Arkham series on hard mode (currently paused in the middle of the Bane boss fight in Origins). Finished the Azure Moon route of Fire Emblem: Three Houses (two and a half routes to go!), and I'm fully sold on Catherine/Shamir. Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom are very enjoyable.
My fixation on Homestuck has died down to a low-burning ember. I need to catch up on Beyond Canon. Still got a few projects for that on the backburner. And I still recommend the Homestuck Fanauthor Coalition. It runs regular writing prompts and competitions. I've made some great friends through that server. :3
[REDACTED] has motivated me to set aside about 30-45 minutes per day for reading. So far I have finished three books since June 1st. The Martian was a ton of fun, Sense and Sensibility is the sort of deadpan sarcasm that I love, and Out of My Mind remains a fantastic tearjerker of a book. Definitely not going to do book reviews for everything I read, but I'd like to do a retrospective on Ready Player One, having finished rereading it a couple months ago. Long story short: it definitely impacted the way I interact with the internet for the better, and while there are parts that haven't aged well, it remains an enjoyable read, if a little heavy on the pop culture references.
Somebody needs to hold me at gunpoint and force me to finish watching The Dragon Prince and to play Life Is Strange: Before the Storm. It's been too long.
I'm still most active on Discord. I check Tumblr more often than I did last year (currently I've had my drafts tab open for over a month cuz I'm working on a Funger analysis post), and I still give up Tumblr every Lent. Ex-Twitter can rot for all I care, lol. Thinking about joining the fediverse, but I really don't want to manage another social media profile. Besides, I like my horrid little cockroach microblogging platform.
Hope you all are doing well! ^w^
